Services for Lauren Biffar Were Monday

Services for 67 year old Lauren William Biffar were held Monday morning, March 27th, at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Mr. Biffar died on Friday, March 24th at the Blair Hospital.

Mr. Biffar was born at Blair on December 9, 1910. He was married to Virginia Pounds and the couple had been engaged in farming before moving to 1825 Park Street in Blair.

Mr. Biffar was employed with the Natural Resources District in Blair.

Mr. Biffar is survived by his wife Virginia, seven children and nine grandchildren. The children are: Larry, Bill, Tom, Laurel and Brenda, all of Blair, Dea Hansen of Omaha and Mrs. Michael (Joyce) Johnson of Blair.

Surviving brothers are John and Woodrow Biffar of Los Angeles California.

Rev. John Peterson officiated with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements and burial at the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Ernie Bohs, Eugene Wilkins, Harry Wrich, Dave Lourner, Jack Petersen and Bill Peck.
