Services were held on February 27, 1980 at the Jones Funeral Chapel in Benkelman, Nebraska, for Lonnie Biffar.

Burial was in the Blair Cemetery with Pastor John Petersen officiating. Military graveside services were under the direction of the Blair American Legion Post.

He was a Washington County resident many years ago and was 87 years of age at the time of his death. He never married.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. Survivors are ten nephews.
