Christine M. Rosenbaum, age 92, passed away on her birthday Saturday, February 20, 2016, at her residence in Uehling, Nebraska.

Christine was born February 20, 1924, to Nels and Della (Lake) Christensen in Blair, Nebraska. She attended and graduated from Kennard High School. Christine was a riveter in a plane factory during World War II and later worked at the bomb manufacturing plant. She later went to work for the United States Postal Service. After 30 years of employment, Christine retired as Postmaster in 1984. After retiring, Christine and Lyle relocated to Florida. Christine moved back to Nebraska in 2005.

Christine loved to go dancing with her husband Lyle. She enjoyed bowling, crochet, and loved her cats.

Preceded in death by: husband Reynold “Lyle” Rosenbaum, brothers Charles Christensen Sr. and Alfred Christensen, and sisters Ruth Lautrup and Rose Staben.

Survived by: daughter Ruth (Tony) Weatherman of Uehling, son Jack Rosenbaum of Springfield, MO, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many other nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:45 AM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Grace Methodist Church in Kennard, Nebraska (218 W. 2nd). Pastor Russ Foust will be officiating.
