Kory Michael Fivecoat, Sr., age 62, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.

Kory was born November 30, 1953 in Bell, California to Frank and Barbara Houk. After attending Rio Vista High School he entered the work force as a truck driver where he worked for 27 years. In 1996 Kory changed professions, working in construction for the next five years. In 2001 he moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he was a welder for Metal Doors and Hardware Company. He worked there until the time of his passing.

Kory enjoyed working with his hands, and could fix anything. He enjoyed building motorcycles and bikes and creating things out of wood. Kory’s true passion was found in spending time with his family. He was always available when it came time to help his friends and family. When it was time for a joke or a bit of humor, Kory always had something funny to say.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother James Fivecoat and infant grandson Devin Fivecoat.

He is survived by his domestic partner Rhonda Bridges, children Angela Fivecoat, Kory Fivecoat, Andrew Fivecoat, Jeffrey Bustillos, Cheyenne Walz, Justin Fivecoat, step-daughter Brianna Boecker, sibilings Alicia Fivecoat, John Henderson, Gregg Fivecoat, Tom Henderson and George Henderson, grandchildren Kory Fivecoat III, Natasha Camacho, Quentin Camacho, Katelyn Fivecoat, Hailey Fivecoat, Elijah Walz, Easton Walz, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 11, 2015 at 10:30A.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel, with burial following at Salem Fontanelle Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
