WM. R. LEPTIEN, 71, DIED AT HOSPITAL LATE TUESDAY

William R. Leptien, for many years operator of the Leptien Nursing Home on west South street, died at Memorial Community Hospital late Tuesday afternoon, April 9th.

He was a native of Omaha, having been born there May 10th, 1902.

He was married to Geneva Stricklett, of Blair, on January 18, 1929, and for many years the couple resided in Omaha and in Arkansas.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dean Lallman (Lynn) of Arlington and by three grandchildren, Curtis, Lisa and Wayne. A sister, Mrs. Marie Ritter, lives at Rock Ledge, Florida.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Charles Nenow will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Louis Nielsen, Tom Tucker, Jim West, Carl Mackie, Kent Hall and Robert Petersen.
