Gerald E. Hansen, age 90, of Blair, passed February 29, 2016 at Via Christi Assisted Living in Omaha. A funeral service will be held 10:30 Saturday at Campbell Aman Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday at 4 PM with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Gerald E. Hansen was born in Sidney, Montana on February 27, 1926 to Marius and Carrie Hansen. He was also baptized in Sidney. He moved with his family to Blair at the age of five where he attended school until graduation in 1943. He attended Dana and the University of Nebraska Omaha. In 1947 he married Helen Olson. Jerry worked most of his adult life as a construction superintendent. In 1989 he married Carlene J. Oleson.

Gerald is survived by his wife Carlene; son G. Randall and Ginger Hansen; daughter Deborah Jean and Lon Giberson; stepchildren: Laurie and Gary Jackson, Donna Oleson, Vail and Lisa Oleson, Chris and Earl Feiling; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Cynthia Loye, brothers Roger, Karl, Glen, Stanley, and sister Dorothy.
