#1-10 Jan.,, 1929- The Enterprise Word was received in Kennard of the death of Mrs. Marie Lewis Sunday at her home in Fremont. Mrs. Lewis was seriously injured in an auto accident last fall and had been in a plaster cast since, with a broken back. She leaves besides her husband, her mother, Mrs. Morgan Pedersen of near Blair; a sister, Mrs. John McCracken of Laurel; and several brothers. Mrs. Lewis was laid to rest in the Kennard Cemetery.

#2-10 Jan., 1929 - The Tribune Mrs. Marie C. Lewis died at her home in Fremont early last Sunday morning following injuries received in an auto accident that took place the latter part of last November. The deceased was born February 22, 1895 in Omaha, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morgans Peterson. In 1912 she was united in marriage with John P. Lewis in Blair, and five years later the family moved to Fremont. Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Marie Sorensen of this city; a sister, Mrs. Biggerstaff of New Castle and eight brothers, Chris Petersen of Omaha, James of Chicago, Gus of Lincoln, A. G. of Fremont and Einer, Oscar, Leonard and Theodore of this city. Funeral services were held from the family home on Tuesday afternoon and later from the Fremont Christian church, after which burial was made in the Kennard cemetery.

#3-10 Jan., 1929 - The Tribune Burial services for Mrs. Marie Lewis of Fremont were held at the Kennard cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Lewis as a child lived with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mogens Pedersen, on a farm south of town.
