C. Irene Hansen, 72, of Blair died September 7, 1987, at Mercy Care center in Omaha.

She was born June 22, 1915, in Blair to Christian B. and Irene (Rasmussen) Hansen. She lived all her life on a farm near Orum, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Orum.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 1987, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum. Rev. Norman Lillegard officiated.

Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Russell Christensen; Paul Hansen; Albert Hansen; Bill Kuhl; Lyle Hansen, and Niels Nielsen.

She is survived by a brother, Leslie Hansen of Nevada City, California, and a sister, Mrs. William (Laura) Powers of Omaha, four nephews and two nieces.
