FORMER COUNTIAN DIED SATURDAY IN MINNESOTA
Carl R. Hansen, a one-time Washington County resident of the Kennard area, died last Saturday at Litchfield, Minnesota. He was 83 years of age, having been born at Omaha July, 15, 1890. Mr. Hansen was a brother of the late Nels Hansen, early-day automobile dealer who later moved from Blair to Texas.
He is survived by three sons. They are Roger, of Tekamah, Nebraska; Clyde of Wilmer, Minnesota; Eugene of Litchfield, Minnesota.
Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair on Wednesday, January 16th with the Rev. Gordon Patterson of the United Methodist Church of Blair conducting the service. Burial was made in the Kennard Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Avery Jaspersen, Lyle Jaspersen, Clarence Sorensen, Carl Hansen, Ralph Clausen and George Carter.
