Funeral services for Celia Hansen, age 99, of Blair, who died January 29, 1990 at Crowell Memorial Home are Thursday, February 1, 1990 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, with Rev. Ron Meiers officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Celia Wulf was born on December 25, 1890 at rural Blair to Peter and Jennie Beckman Wulf. She received her elementary education at the Maney School. She was employed for five years at the Blair Telephone Company as a telephone operator.

On January 8, 1919, she married Arthur Hansen at Blair. Together they farmed in rural Blair until retiring in 1975 and moving to Blair. They moved to Omaha for two years to be with their children and in 1985 moved to Crowell Home where she resided until her death.

Celia was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, in 1986 and one sister, Belva Voss.

Celia is survived by three daughters, Ruth Christensen and Clara (Mrs. Michael) Klingforth, both of Omaha, Nebraska and Lillian Jipp of Santee, California. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Florence (Mrs. Lester N.) Hansen of Blair; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be directed to the Blair Rescue Squad or the Crowell Home Staff education needs.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
