Mrs. Darlene Smith Died January 7

Mrs. Clifford Smith, formerly Darlene Pierce, passed away at the Bergen Mercy Hospital in Omaha Monday morning January 7. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. Smith was born July 14, 1918 at Lenox, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pierce. She was married to Clifford Smith and worked at an insurance office most of her life.

Surviving her in death is her husband, two sons: Donald Smith of Omaha and Richard Smith of Monmouth, Illinois. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. James Wulf, Mrs. Don Rouse, and one brother, Donald Pierce, all of Blair, and six grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Crosby Funeral Home in Omaha. Interment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Messrs. Larry Moore, David Wulf, Robert Wulf, Gary Baker, Charles Kimball and Lowell Moore.
