Dolores Smith, 67

Services for Dolores (Dodie) Smith, age 67 of Blair, who died May 16, 1993 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 19 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church with burial in the Holy Cross cemetery. A rosary will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 pm.

Dolores E. Smith was born on September 18, 1925 at Royal, Nebraska to J.W. and Bertha Nielsen Williby. In 1941 her family moved to Blair where she attended school and graduated from Blair High School in 1944.

She married Harold Smith July 19, 1944.

She cared for many pre-school children throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Glenn, Herb and Lyle Williby, and one sister, Jeanene Williby.

Surviving her in death is her husband, Harold; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Judy Smith, and Paul and Chris Smith, Blair; son, John B. Smith, Omaha; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and LeRoy Stevens, Blair; Joan and Gary Niver, Omaha; daughter, Cindy Nelson, Blair; grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Hibbs, Blair; Mrs. Francis (Marveline) Eggison, Portland, Oregon; Lois (Mrs. Jack) Backman, Blair; two brothers, Jim Williby and Bill Williby, Blair; sisters-in-law Ardith Reinke, Royal and Daisy Williby, Blair; many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge.
