Edward O. Hansen, 87, of Lincoln City, Ore., died October 4, 2004.

He was born Oct. 4, 1917, in Ruskin, and moved to the Blair area with his family as a small child. He graduated from Blair High School in 1936, and served six years in the U.S. Coast Guard, as a Warrant Officer. He worked for Minneapolis-Honeywell out of Sacramento, Calif., for more that 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, Edward J. of Roseville, Calif.; daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Bill Bogle of Reno, Nev., and Pamela and Keith Kellerman of Gig Harbor, Wash.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Elva Hansen of Blair.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, June; brothers, Milton and Lyle Hansen; and sister, Mildred Altekruse.
