SERVICES HELD TUESDAY FOR EDWARD J. HANSEN

(veteran)

Edward J. Hansen was born on a farm in Washington County, on March 23, 1904 to Rudolph and Louise Hansen. He attended school in the Blair area and continued to live there until 1933, when he moved with his mother to Greenwood.

In 1972 Edward moved into the Louisville Care center, Louisville, Nebraska and was later transferred to the Bethesda Care Center in Ashland, where he remained until his death in the Veterans Hospital in Omaha on Saturday, March 29, 1980.

Services were held at Marcy Chapel, Ashland on Tuesday, April 1, 1980 with the Rev. Phillip L. Hayes officiating. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery, Blair, Nebraska. Surviving Mr. Hansen is a brother, Ted Hansen of Redwood City, California; one nephew, Ted; several cousins and other relatives, also a host of friends.

Serving as pallbearers were, Roger Welliver, Edward Hansen, Ralph Novak, Robert Taylor, John Taylor, Jr., and Clarence Toelke.

Lloyd Edwards was the soloist accompanied by Mrs. Sally Wagner.
