Enjoyed traveling in her RV

Longtime Blair resident Barbara A. Hoxsie, 65, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, in Conway, Ark.

A memorial service was held in Conway on Feb. 23, and a memorial service will also be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Barbara Ann Brunk was born July 9, 1945, in Callaway to Fred W. and Margaret Brunk. She graduated from Blair High School in 1963.

On Sept. 19, 1964, she married Leroy "Butch" Hoxsie.

After retiring from Washington County Bank in 2007, she pursued her love of RVing with her fifth-wheel, traveling all around the country with her little dog, Maggie, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Teri Hoxsie of Conway, Ark., and their daughters, Jacque Sweeten (husband, Ashley, and their girls, Addie and Brookelyn Nicole) and Jessie Hoxsie; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Tammie Hoxsie of Lakeside, Calif., and their children, Kristina, Eric, Jayden and Kaci; and daughter and son-in-law, Lauri and Wally Fitch of Valley Center, Kan., and their children, Bailey, Gavin, Garret, and Addie Jo; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Linda Brunk of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Butch; father, and mother, Margaret (Bair) Webb.
