#1~Former Blair resident Faythe D. Hansen, 66, of Wendell, N.C., died Feb. 3, 2007, of a brain aneurysm. Her cremains were handled in North Carolina as per her wishes. Private family services are planned at a later date.

She is survived by her son, Dean, of North Carolina; one grandson; mother, Virginia Biffar; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Frances Biffar, Bill Biffar and Tom Biffar, all of Blair, sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Mike Johnson of Blair, Brenda Biffar of Missouri, and Laurel and Bill Method and Decatur; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Lauren Biffar; and an infant son, Mark.

Faythe Dea (Biffar) Hansen, age 66, of Wendell, N. C., passed away Feb. 3, 2007. Faythe was born June 25, 1940 in Blair, NE, to Lauren and Virginia Biffar. She graduated in 1958 from Blair High School and was employed as an executive secretary in Omaha until she retired in 2003. She moved to North Carolina in 2005 to be with her family. She was preceded in death by her father and her son, Mark. Faythe is survived by her son, Dean, McLeansville, NC; grandson, Tyler and his mother, Brenda, Atlanta Beach, NC; mother Virginia Biffar; brothers Larry, Bill and Tom, all of Blair; sisters, Joyce Johnson, Blair, Brenda, Sunrise Beach, MO and Laurel Method, Decatur, NE; also many nieces and nephews and good friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Celebrations of Faythe’s life will be held in North Carolina and Nebraska by her family at a later date.
