FRANK HANSEN DIED THURS.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR FORT CALHOUN RESIDENT

Frank Hansen, 77 years of age, died Thursday at his home in Fort Calhoun.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Don Killin officiating, with interment in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mr. Hansen is survived by his wife, Amanda; two sons, Ray Hansen of Blair and Fred Hansen of Fort Calhoun; a half-brother, George Hansen, of Omaha; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Hansen was born Nov. 17, 1884 at Anita, Ia. He would have celebrated his 78th birthday Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Hansen were married Nov. 20 1907 at Council Bluffs, Iowa. Today (Monday) would have been their 54th wedding anniversary.

The Hansen’s have lived in the Fort Calhoun vicinity for the past 40 years. They farmed until 10 years ago when they moved to Fort Calhoun.

Pallbearers were Art Clausen, Bruce Cox, Ernest Kruse, Claus B. Mehrens, Mark Slader and William Crawshaw.

The Sievers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
