FREIDA HANSEN DIES WEDNESDAY IN FREMONT

Funeral services will be Friday, August 31, at 2 p.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard for Freida Hansen of 1526 Adams, Blair, who died Wednesday, August 29, after a lingering illness in the Dodge County Memorial Hospital in Fremont. Rev. Wayne Josephson will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

Freida Hansen was born February 13, 1903, at Kennard to Marius and Pauline Rosenbaum Nelsen. She was baptized and confirmed at Emmaus Lutheran Church and was a member of that church.

She attended March School for 10 years and then attended the High School in Kennard for her last two years, graduating in 1921. She taught school for three years in Holyoke, Colorado, and for one year at Wranch School in Washington County. She married Bert Hansen in Omaha on June 3, 1925.

One daughter, Donna Templeton, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Bert Hansen; and two sons, Carroll Hansen, Lake Preston, South Dakota and Leo Hansen of Trumbull, Connecticut. One sister, Mrs. Leo (Verna) Klipp of Denver, Colorado, and ten grandchildren also survive her.
