MRS. ELMER LUND BURIED WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Elmer Lund passed away Sunday morning, July 6th at the Good Shepherd Home where she has resided for the past five years. She was bedfast for the past 14 years.

Alma Sorensen was born to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sorensen near Kennard on August 13, 1893. On June 29th, 1929 she was married to Elmer Lund and they lived in Kennard where he was in the Carpenter business for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband who died on August 20, 1967. Her parents and four brothers also preceded her in death.

Survivors are four brothers, Albert, Ola, Andres and Lester Sorensen, all of Kennard and one sister, Mrs. Carl Lund (May) of Fremont.

Funeral services were Wednesday, July 9th at 2 P.M. at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and burial was in the Kennard Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Don Sorensen, Wallace Voss, Kenneth Hunter, Jim Schneider, Louis Ward, and Harlan Christensen.
