Dorothy Louise Lund, 67 died in San Diego, California, Monday, August 3, 1987.

She was born in Blair on January 21, 1920 to Nicholas and Marie Hansen Lund.

She was baptized and confirmed in the First Lutheran Church in Blair, and was graduated from Blair High School.

She attended Dana College for several years, and worked for the Blair Telephone Company before moving to Los Angeles in 1947, where she worked for a telephone company.

Lund was later transferred to San Diego, where she retired in 1982.

She is survived by two brothers, Ray Lund of Blair and Russel Lund of Harlan, Iowa; three sisters, Lona Lund of Blair, Una Lund of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Frank (Norman) Van Steenhoven of Kilingsworth, Connecticut.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 6, 1987, at 4 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home with Rev. John Beck officiating.

Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be; Phil Larsen, Clifford Hansen, James O. Anderson, R.D. Zimmerman, Jr., Dennis Altekruse, and Don Lippincott.
