Lori Ann Hansen, 55 years, of Arlington, NE went to her heavenly home on Monday, March 14, 2016. She was born March 5, 1961 in Alliance, NE to Joyce (Schnell) and Macky Galyen.

Lori graduated from Alliance High in 1979. She moved to Fremont, NE in 1982, and worked for Ronan Associates from 1982 to 1995. On June 26, 1993, she married her soul mate, Jay Hansen. Jay and Lori started their own landscape business in 1997, which they enjoyed for 13 years.

Lori worked 2 1/2 years for the Village of Arlington, until her illness forced her to quit. She loved to travel, gardening, and sports.

Lori was strong in her faith and loved sharing the Lord with others. Her caring ways will be missed by many. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont.

She is survived by her husband, Jay; mother, Joyce Galyen; father, Macky and wife, Joan Galyen; sisters, Jodi (Doyle) Conroy, Tammie (David) Marsh, Shari (Louie) Leisy; brother, Max (Kim) Galyen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Carolyn Hansen; sister-in-law, Jeanne Hansen; brother-in-law, Jeff (Diana) Hansen; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; nephew, Michael Conroy; and brother-in-law, Martin Burney.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alliance, NE. Pastors Martin Schnare, Richard Mueller, and Glenn Meyer will officiate. Closed casket visitation will be Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Burial will be at Alliance Cemetery in Alliance, NE.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a designation yet to be determined.
