Myrna (Engelhardt) Wagner, 60, of Omaha, formerly of Waterloo, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Myrna will be remembered at a memorial service at Great Commission Baptist Church, 924 Grant Street, Blair, on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Garden of Memories in Waterloo, Iowa.

Myrna Cecilla (Engelhardt) Wagner was born November 17, 1955, in Waterloo, IA, daughter of Myron and Marcella Engelhardt. She was raised and attended schools in the Waterloo area. Myrna was married to Levi Mast from Waterloo in 1972 and they had two sons and two daughters in addition to two sons from his previous marriage. The couple later divorced. In 1992, Myrna was married to Chris Wagner of La Porte City and she gained two more stepchildren from his previous marriage. She and Chris were divorced in 2002. Myrna was a stay at home mom for most of her married years. In 2001 she moved to Des Moines, IA, where she worked for Dahl’s Food Store from 2001-2007, then for Sears Holding Co. from 2007-2010 when Myrna moved to Blair, NE. Myrna was active in her church as much as her health would allow. She loved to sew but her #1 hobby was her family and she most enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, and a great-grandson, Skyler Mundt. Myrna is survived by her brother, Myron (Nancy) Engelhardt of Waterloo, IA; sister, Marcia Fenner of Jesup; her children: David (Gina) Hayungs of Mark, IL; Edward (Tammy) Mast of Epworth, IA; Lisa (Todd) Frambs of Wabeno, WI; Stacy (Heather) Mast of Waterloo, IA; Adam (Courtney) Mast of Grundy Center, IA; and Sarah (Patrick) Armstrong of Blair, NE. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 nephews and 5 great-nephews.
