Robert Frederick, 76, of Blair died on March 15, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair with visitation prior, beginning at 8:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Robert Frederick was born December 22, 1939 to Ralph and Doris (Olson) Frederick in Rulo, Nebraska. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and always had a smile and kind word for everyone.

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years Carol (West), daughter Kim Petersen of Tekamah, sons Mark and wife Debbie of Blair and Todd and wife Kim of Lincoln; grandchildren: Amanda, Ashely, Whitney, Kiley, Matthew, Lindsay, Todd, and Jace; great-grandchildren: Faith, Sam, Sawyer, Aubrey, Laney, Ryker, Rilynn, and Brinley; brothers Ralph and wife Debbie of Las Vegas, NV, Bill and wife Annette of Blair; sisters Kathy and husband Nick and Patti and husband Tom all of Las Vegas, NV; brother-in-law Roger and wife Larita, sister-in-law Judy and husband Denny, and mother-in-law Maxine (West) Gross all of Falls City, NE; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Roger West, sisters-in-law Shirley Frederick and Glenda Gibbs and brother-in-law Harry Gibbs.
