Memorial Services were held Wednesday, December 5, in San Mateo, California, for Okey M. Fields, Jr. Funeral services were held Friday, December 7, in Elkview, West Virginia.

Mr. Fields, an employee of United Airlines and one-time resident of Blair, died Sunday, December 2, in a boating accident near Moss Beach, California.

He is survived by his wife Sue A. Fields, of Pacifica, California, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Okey M. Fields, Sr. of Pigeon, West Virginia, his brothers Don and Fried Fields, Charleston, West Virginia; his children: Kathy Lemen, Omaha, Pamela Gaston, West Virginia, Kim Fields, West Virginia; Cherie Fields, Arizona, Michael Fields, California, Mark Fields, California, John Fields, West Virginia; step-children: Cynthia Garcia, Omaha, Diana Welchert, Kennard, Melanie Florence, California, Lisa Formico, Omaha, Valerie Stacy, California and James Stacy, California.

Donations were requested by the family to the California Marine Mammal Center, Marin, California.
