LILLY

Services for Blairite James Robert Lilly, 70 who died Sunday, July 21, 1985 will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Monsignor Leonard Ziegmann will officiate and graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Wall Lake, Iowa, Cemetery.

Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Campbell Funeral Home.

Lilly was born Oct. 3, 1914, the son of Joseph and Emma Lilly of Newell, Iowa. He married Teresa Ziegmann Aug. 10, 1953 in Debolt, Iowa.

He attended school in Newell and Lourens, Iowa and graduated from Creighton Univeersity with a business degree.

Lilly was a member of the Blair VFW and Eagles, the Kennard American Legion and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was employed at Husker Bowl.

Lilly is survived by his wife, Teresa of Blair; five daughters, Mary West of San Antonio, Texas; Mrs. tom (Teresa) Mencke of Blair; Carol McGinley of Georgetown, Texas; Mrs. Bill (Marilyn) Beach, Sac City, Iowa; and Joan Turner of O’Neill; two sons, Roger Reising of Omaha; and Dennis Reising of St. Charles, Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Mary) McBride of Milford, Iowa; and Alexandria Lilly of Jackson, Minnesota; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
