C. CLIFFORD LIESCHE, 85
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 27 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington for C. Clifford Liesche, 85 who died December 22, 1991 at A. J. Merrick Manor in Fremont. Burial will be in the Elk City Cemetery.
C. Clifford Liesche was born December 19, 1906 at Elgin, North Dakota to Otto and Minnie Jungbluth Liesche.
He farmed around the Bennington area for over 60 years before retiring.
He married Carroll Ellia. She preceded him in death in December 1965.
He is survived by two sons, Harland Liesche, Bennington and Clifford Liesche of Green Briar, Arkansas; two daughters, Margaret Lacey of Bennington and Helen Haden of Omaha; one brother, Glenn H. LIesche of Bennington; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon to 9 p.m.
Memorials may go to the Bennington Volunteer Fire Department.
