Alta R. Holzerland

Alta R. Holzerland, 72, of Arlington, formerly of 2030 N. Keene Ave., died Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.

She was born May 10 1912 at Loup City. She moved to Missouri in 1937 and later lived in the Schuyler and Octavia areas. She moved to Fremont in 1961. For the past year she had been living with her daughter in Arlington.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.

Mrs. Holzerland married Henry C. Holzerland on Dec. 15, 1930 at St. Paul. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1978.

Survivors include two sons, Loran and Larry, both of Fremont; three daughters, Mrs. Maurice (Mildred) Salak of Schuyler, Mrs. Lloyd (Lois) Muller of Fremont and Mrs. Gary (Judy) Knoell of Arlington; four brothers, Clifford and Luther Milligan, both of Fremont; Dale of Littleton, Colo., and Ralph of Loveland, Colo.; two sisters, Frances Evans of Blair and Bessie McGee of Hudson, Mich.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Ella Powell of First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Schuyler Cemetery.

Visitation begins after 7 p.m. today.
