Bernard Frederick Gosker, age 88 of Arlington, died March 21, 2016 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday March 26, 2016 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair from 5:00 to 8:00PM.

Bernard F. Gosker was born on September 1, 1927 at the hospital in Blair, Nebraska, the son of Ernest and Elnora (Petersen) Gosker. Bernard attended Neff and Rose Hill Schools and was confirmed at the Vacoma Church. In January of 1951 he joined the United States Army and served in Korea during the Korean War. Bernard received his honorable discharge from the Army in 1953. After returning from the Army he was a lifelong farmer. On September 19, 1957 he was united in marriage to Lila Hansen at First Lutheran Church in Blair, Nebraska.

Mr. Gosker is survived by his wife Lila Gosker of Arlington, sons; Mark Gosker of Arlington, Paul (Sharla) Gosker of Blair, grandchildren Kiley and Katie Gosker, sister-in-law Lorraine Mencke, brothers-in-law Ralph Novak and Ben Fischer.

Memorials may be directed to the organization of the donor’s choice in Bernard’s name.
