LESTER N. HANSEN BURIED IN HERMAN CEMETERY OCT. 2nd

Lester Nels Hansen passed away at the Blair Hospital September 29. He was born in Washington County June 28, 1896, where he reside his entire life. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith.

Lester was united in marriage with Florence Johnson October 23, 1917. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. William Wrenn of Gadsden, Alabama and Mrs. Howard Long of Mesa, Arizona; four granddaughters, three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

He is also survived by a brother, Arthur Hansen of Blair, two sisters, Mrs. Myra Anderson of Plattsmouth, Nebraska and Mrs. Adena Peterson of Richmond, Virginia. His parents, Louis and Mary Beck Hansen preceded him in death.

The Hansens have made their home on their farm southwest of Herman since 1950.

Rev. Zach Kleinsasser conducted funeral services at Herman Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 2 at 2 p.m. The Campbell Mortuary was in charge with interment in Herman Cemetery.

Mrs. Lydia Kleinsasser, soloist, was accompanied by Mrs. Gracie Husk.

Pallbearers were Norman Buchardt, Peter Hansen, Arthur Nelson, Floyd Ricker, Gudmond Sorensen and Merle Wardell.
