Lloyd R. Hansen, 78, a former Blair resident, of 5956 Red Day Road, Martinsville, Ind., 46151 died July 6, 1998.
He was born Aug. 11, 1919, in Coulter, Iowa, to Roy and Esther Hansen.
On Nov. 5, 1942, he married Ruth Kern. To this union, three children were born, a son, Gary, and two daughters, Susan and Linda.
The Hansens moved to Blair in 1954 and then moved to Indiana in May of 1998.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; one son, Gary, and wife, Sherrill of Denison, Iowa; two daughters, Susan of Martinsville Ind., and Linda and husband, Mark, of Indianapolis, Ind.; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Jeremy of Denison, Iowa, David Lori and Lisa of Martinsville, Ind., and Christopher, Anthony and James of Indianapolis, Ind.; and one great-granddaughter, Haley Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
