SERVICES MONDAY FOR H.J. HANSEN

Funeral services were held today (Monday) for H. J. Hansen 92 years of age, who died in Omaha Friday.

The services were held at the First Lutheran Church, the Rev. George Palleson officiating with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Hansen is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Allen E. Andersen (Agnete) of Amherst Mass., and Mrs. Viggo Carlsen (Viola) of Omaha; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a brother Mads Hansen of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Hans Jorgen Hansen was born in Velduildberg, Denmark Oct. 16, 1871. He came to this country as a young man. Mr. Hansen farmed for many years in the Orum area, moving to Blair in 1934. He worked at the Lutheran Publishing House and also served as treasurer for they United Evangelical Lutheran Church synod from 1935 to 1956. His wife died in 1957.

Pallbearers were Callie Hansen, Lowell Christensen, Walter Huber, Robert Rasmussen, Martinus Hansen and Paul V. Hansen.

The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
