Earl Osburn, 70, Died Tuesday

Earl Vernon Osborn, farmer in the Kennard vicinity, died at Memorial Community Hospital early Tuesday morning. He was 70 years old.

He was born July 4, 1897 at Homer, Nebraska, but had lived for a number of years in Washington County.

He is survived by his wife, Lena, a brother, Basil, of Wayne, Nebraska and four sisters. They are: Mrs. Lotta Longwell of Fremont; Mrs. Elsie Higgins, of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Grace Longwell of Dakota City, Nebraska, and Mrs. Millie Eriksen of Oakland, Nebraska.

Funeral services are being held this (Thursday) afternoon at the First Lutheran Church in Blair with the Rev. George Pallesen conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home, was made in the Blair Cemetery. Pall bearers were Gustav Kahnk, James Andreasen, Robert Andreasen, Raymond Kuhr, Leslie Rosenbaum and James Schneider.
