A memorial service for Rev. Jess Lee Hansen, 65, of Central City was held Wednesday, October 14, 1987, at Trinity Cathedral in Omaha.
Fr. Hansen was the Episcopal priest at Central City for the past few months, after serving for seven years in Blair at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
It was Fr. Hansen’s wish that his body be donated to medical science.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia of Central City; daughter Mary McDermott of Milwaukee, four step-children, Michael Cox of Omaha, Bruce Cox of Washington, D.C., Thomas Cox of Osceola, Missouri; Mrs. Susan Notarione of Erie, Pennsylvania; sister Mrs. Charles Harris of Albion, and 8 grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Diocese of Nebraska Clergy Relief Fund.
