MRS. HOLGER HANSEN DIED IN OMAHA AT AGE OF 82

Mrs. Vassie D. Hansen, for many years resident of Blair died Friday in Omaha following an illness for about a year. She was 82 years of age. She was the wife of Holger Hansen who for a long period was depot agent at Blair. The family lived on west Nebraska Street.

In 1936 they moved to Omaha where Mr. Hansen continued with the railroad but in a different type of work. He remained with the railroad until retirement.

Mrs. Hansen is survived by her husband and by a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Opal) Meierhenry of Fremont and a son O. R. (Bus) Hansen of Omaha.

There are five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Evelyn Maves resides in Omaha. Mrs. Hansen was a member of Rose Rebekah Lodge No. 139 of Omaha.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (Monday) at the Roeder Mortuary at 50th and Ames Avenue. Interment will be made in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
