Services Will Be In Arlington For Joseph Rhea

Funeral services will be held at Rozanek and Son Colonial Funeral Home in Arlington at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, for Joseph C. Rhea, 67, who died Tuesday, May 27, 1980, at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Rev. Gerald E. Senn will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday between 7-9 and Friday from 9 a.m. until the services.

Joseph C. Rhea was born April 7, 1913, in Arlington to James P. and Martha (McCall) Rhea. On April 8, 1939, he married Margaret P. Pfeiffer of Arlington in Fremont. Although retired, he had been a motel owner and operator. He had lived at Ft. Morgan, Colorado for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sisters, Vivian M. Rhea and Mrs. Fred (June) Larsen, both of Omaha; and one brother, W. Howard Rhea of Arlington.

Four brothers preceded him in death.

A memorial for a scholarship at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is being established.

Rozanek and Son Colonial Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of arrangements for the services.
