Violet N. Hansen of Fremont died Sunday, Oct. 9, at her daughter’s home in Fremont.

Services are Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Country Bible Church in Blair. Burial is in Orum Cemetery in Blair.

Violet N. Hansen was born on Feb. 14, 1918, to Charles and Ressie (Robson) Evans in Emerson. She married LeRoy Hansen in Logan, Iowa, on Sept. 24, 1938. They lived in several communities in Nebraska and after her husband's death, she moved to California where she worked for six years before returning to Fremont.

She enjoyed reading, watching westerns, baking, canning, crocheting and spending time with her children.

She is survived by seven children and their spouses, LeRoy Jr. and Ann of Ocean City, Calif.; Ann Hansen of Fremont; Ronald of Fremont; Roger and Karen of North Bend; Richard and Marian of Blair; Edwin and Linda of Blair; Sharon and Lanny Bobo of Wesimnster, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Velma Raleigh of Lakewood, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Linda, and three, sons, Larry, Gerald and Wayne.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
