Victor A. Kephart, 68

Victor A. Kephart, age 68, of Tekamah died April 12, 2016, at the VA Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral services will be Monday, April 18, at 2:00 PM at Country Bible Church in Blair with visitation prior starting at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at the Blair Cemetery.

Victor A. Kephart was born on April 28, 1947, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He attended Ft. Calhoun grade school and High School. He was born into a musical family playing country and 1950s rock music. He survived in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. Victor enjoyed football and gardening but his love and passion was music. He played throughout several counties and numerous music festivals throughout his life.

He is survived by children: daughter, Corine; sons, Shain and Casey Kephart; and daughter; Carrie; twin brother, Vinton (Norma) Kephart of Tekamah; and brother, Harold (Wanda), of Co Bluffs, IA; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Kephart; brother, Leslie Dale Kephart; sister, Barbara Nelson; and brother, Eugene Allen; and nephew, Jefferey Kephart.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
