Clinton Smith

Funeral services for Clinton H. Smith, 77, who died August 4, 1986, in the Hooper Care Center in Hooper, will be held Thursday, August 7, 2 p.m. at the Herman Methodist Church. Rev. Larry Orvis will officiate and burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Smith was born February 8, 1909, the son of E.W. and Maude Smith of Herman. He attended Vacoma and New England Schools.

Smith married Ethel Meierhenry on October 30, 1932, at Fullerton.

He farmed in the Herman area all of his life.

Survivors include his wife of Herman; one son, Ronald of Hooper; one brother, Harold of Fort Collins, Colorado; one sister, Mrs. Walter (Gladys) Meierhenry of Fremont; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bob Arnold, Loren Katt, David Maas, Bernard Oerman, Lyle Thiefoldt and Gary Kruse.

Honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Katt, Emil Maas, Don Sorensen, Nile Johnson, Walter Kruse and A.I. Magill.

Organist will be Gracie Husk.

Campbell Funeral Home of Blair is in charge of arrangements.
