Mrs. John Wrich Died Here Tuesday

Mrs. John Wrich well known, lifetime resident of Washington County, died at Memorial Community Hospital at Blair Tuesday, March 19th. She was 68 years old.

Margretha Caroline Wrich was born March 16th, 1895, at Benson, in west Omaha. She grew up in that area and moved to Washington County upon her marriage to John Wrich on August 30th, 1916. She and her husband spent most of their married life engaged in farming.

She is survived by her husband, 4 sons and 2 daughters. The sons are Claus Wrich of Bennington, Albert Wrich, of Omaha, Lawrence Wrich of Blair, and John Jr. of Fremont. The daughters are Mrs. Lawrence Petersen (Elsie) of Mead, Nebraska and Mrs. Lyle Hindley (Margaret) of Herman. There are eleven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Five brothers who survive are Henry Hansen, of Bennington, William Hansen, of Omaha, Arnold Hansen, of Omaha, Ed Hansen, Tekamah, and Reinhardt Hansen, of Tekamah. Three sisters, who survive, are Mrs. Emma Neuhaus, Mrs. Rose Peety, and Mrs. Frieda Appel, all of Omaha.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 P.M. at the First Methodist Church. The Rev. Dale Westadt will officiate. Burial, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home, will be made in the Blair Cemetery.
