Donna J. Bilderback, 69

Donna J. Bilderback, 69, of Fort Calhoun, died Friday, February 15, 2008 in Omaha.

Funeral services were Monday, February 18, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. Interment was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Donna Jean Stortz was born May 25, 1938 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She lived for a while in Omaha before moving to Fort Calhoun, where she attended high school.

On Sept. 6, 1958, she married Don Bilderback at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Bilderback was a member of the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church, where she was also a youth group leader. She helped with the Little League baseball program and even coached a game. She was a member of the Fort Calhoun quilter’s group and bridge club, and she enjoyed playing golf.

She is survived by her husband, Don; daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Chris Bochnicek of Fort Calhoun and Kathleen and Tom Matthews of Castle Rock, Colorado; son and daughter-in-law Steve and Tammy Bilderback of Blair; three grandchildren; mother, Millie Diller of Blair; brother Sonny Stortz of Papillion.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Stortz; and stepfather, Harold Diller.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue Squad.
