Charles ‘Chuck’ Butts Sr., 54

Charles Keith ‘Chuck’ Butts, Sr., age 54, passed away April 20, 2016, from his battle with cancer, with his family by his side.

Chuck was born November 24, 1961, to Charles and Norma Butts. Chuck loved being on the road. He was a truck driver most of his life and that was where he met his wife, Patti. They were married June 6, 1988. They have four children. He spent his last few years as a driver for Blair Community Schools.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family meant the world to him.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Patti; four children, Michelle (Craig) Mabbitt, Chuck, Jr., Steve and Erica (Jorden) Parker; two grandsons, Zachary Mabbitt and Gage; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leon and Alice Gilbert; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie and Doug Holle; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ricky and Miki Gilbert; and many nieces and nephews.

Chuck’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held April 30, 2016, at 2 p.m., at Lakeland Clubhouse. Memorials may be sent to the family at 4233 West St., Blair, NE 68008.
