Mary Louise (Wiggins) Dannen, 81, died April 16, 2016. She was born to Gerald and Hazel (Luscomb) Wiggins of Des Moines, Iowa, on Jan. 28, 1935.

Mary was a stay-at-home mother and was active in the Methodist church.

She married Lloyd Arthur Dannen Sr. on June 21, 1957. They had three children: Lloyd Dannen Jr. (wife, Vicki), of Urbandale, Iowa; Kathleen (Dannen) Johnson (husband, Geary), of Blair, Neb.; and Timothy Dannen (wife, Julie), of Boone, Iowa. They have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Dannen; mother, Hazel Lowery, and father, Gerald "Bill" Wiggins, of Des Moines; brother-in-law, Wayne Greene, of Des Moines; and sister, Jean (Wiggins) Chapman, of Des Moines.

She is survived by her sister, Darlene (Wiggins) Greene; brother-in-law, Ralph Chapman; three children; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held for Mary and Lloyd at 6 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016, at Country Bible Church in Blair. Burial will take place at Rhodes Cemetery in Rhodes, Iowa, at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016. Dinner will follow at the Methodist church in Rhodes.
