Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 6, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church for Alma Ackerman, 87, who died May 4, 1982, at Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Rev. Daniel Galas will conduct the service. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Alma Ackerman was born December 19, 1894, at Herman, Nebraska, to John and Elizabeth Fuess Ackerman. She lived west of Herman until 1960 when she moved to Blair. She moved to Good Shepherd Home two years ago.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Ella Ackerman, Tekamah. Two cousins, Thelma Long, Blair, and Ruth Cook, Nemaha, Iowa; two nieces, Patricia Haverkamp and Shirley Seaman, both of Tekamah; and one nephew, George Ackerman, Tekamah, also survivie her.

Pallbearers are Henry Lammers, A.I. Magill, Etlar Olsen, Leonard Petersen, John Andreasen and Greg Drew.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
