Omaha Services Held For Arlington Native

Services were held Tuesday, July 5, 1988 at the First Central Congregational Church in Omaha for Vivian M. Rhea, of Omaha, an Arlington native.

She died Saturday, July 2, 1988, at her home. She was born April 25, 1896, in rural Arlington. She attended school in Arlington, graduating in 1913 and attended the University of Nebraska and studied business. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Business Women and was a member of the First Central Congregational Church in Omaha.

She was employed by Western Securities Company for many years.

The 2:30 P.M. service was officiated by the Rev. David Ruhe. The burial was in the Arlington Cemetery. A memorial was established for the church.

She is survived by a sister, Irene Larsen of Omaha and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James P. and Martha (McCall) Rhea; brothers, W. Howard, Joseph, Hugh, Roscoe, and Donald Rhea.

The organist was Linda Oswalt with Kent Standerford as the soloist. Pallbearers were Rhea Larsen, Steve Bluma, Robert Marr, William Rhea, Jeff Bluma, and Ray Pfeiffer.

The Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
