Laura R. Hare, 43, died July 20, 2006, at her home in Blair.

Funeral services were Sunday, July 23, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the Liberty Memorial Gardens in Booneville, Miss.

Laura R. Hare is remembered as a person who was passionate about family, home and life. She was a generous, giving and fun loving person, to whom no one was a stranger. Her home was always full of the sound of laughter of family and friends.

She was a graduate of West Memphis High School and Peru State University in Auburn.

She is survived by her husband, David Hare, formerly of Booneville; children, Abbi Pickett and Matthew Pickett, both of Blair, Jeremy Hare of Booneville, and Michael Hare of West Point, Miss; parents, Mary Ann Stroup and Clarence Rook of Marion, Ark.; sisters, Cynthia Rook of Marion, Sondra Gumucio of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Melissa Gilluly of Las Vegas, Nev.

In keeping with her love for others, Mrs. Hare chose to participate in the state’s organ donor program.
