Lottie, the 22 year old daughter of Mrs. Hannah Harris of DeSoto, died this morning at 3 a.m. of Spanish influenza. Miss Harris and her mother were employed on the Leftwich ranch in DeSoto. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, out of doors, and the body shipped to the old home at Neola, Iowa, for burial. Mrs. Harris is quite ill with the same ailment.

Miss Lottie Harris died at the Leftwich farm in DeSoto last Thursday morning of influenza, after an illness of about ten days. A short service was conducted at the house at 10 o'clock Saturday morning by Rev. Howard, of Omaha, and the body taken to the old home of Neola, Ia., for burial. The wealth of beautiful flowers showed something of the high esteem in which Miss Lottie was held by her many friends. She was born at Neola March 24th, 1890, and was therefore past 28 years of age. Most of her life was spent there coming to this state with her mother four years ago. Her brother, Burt, died only two months ago. Besides her mother she leaves two sisters, Mrs. O. S. Stevenson, of Folsom, Ia., and Mrs. Gunnerson, of Omaha, and 4 brothers, R. J. of Fresno, Calif., John R. of Santa Rita, N. M., Harry W. of Irvington, and Roy A. who lives at home
