Priscilla Annette Skov, 72

Services for Priscilla Annette Skov, 72, who died August 19, 1991 at Yankton, South Dakota were held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayne.

Priscilla Annette Skov, the daughter of Pete A.C. and Christine Christensen Nelson was born August 29, 1919 at Fremont. She was baptized and confirmed at Bluffs Lutheran Church in Fremont.

She graduated from Fremont High School in 1938 before attending Midland College. She taught school in Dodge and Beemer, Nebraska.

She married Lyle L. Skov August 25, 1946 at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. They moved to Wayne, Nebraska in 1955 where she worked at Nebraska Book Company at Wayne State College and the Wayne Book Store until they retired to Sun Lakes, Arizona.

There she was a member of the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church. She was a past member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayne where she taught Sunday School and Summer Bible School. She was a member of the hospital auxiliary and a member and past officer of the ACME Club in Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Lyle L. Skov of Sun Lakes, Arizona; one daughter, Diane Backman of Chandler, Arizona; one son, Rodney Skov of Lincoln, Nebraska; five grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Helen Skov of Blair; two brothers, Shurley Nelson of Blair and Perry Nelson of Fremont; two sisters, Marie Hansen of Raytown, Missouri and Kathleen Gutschow of Fremont and nieces and nephews.

Schumacher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
