SLADER—Norman E., age 92, of Omaha, NE. Preceded in death by brother, Paul Slader and sister Dorothy Ohrt. Survived by wife, Arlene Slader of Omaha, son and daughter-in-law, Norman A. and Beverly Slader, of Seattle, WA; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Michael Pelowski, of Omaha; grandchildren: Stephanie Peters and Lindsay Slader of Seattle, WA; Matthew Pelowski of Nagoya, Japan; Courtney Pelowski of Kansas City, KS, and Christopher Pelowski of Washington Courthouse, OH. One great-grandchild.

Visitation: Friday, May 12, 2006 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 pm at funeral home. Funeral service: Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 11:00 am at Mt. View Presbyterian Church, Omaha, NE. Interment: Private. In lieu of traditional remembrances, memorials to: Mt. View Presbyterian Church and Nebraska Childrens Home.

Norman E. Slader, 92

Washington County native Norman E. Slader, 92, of Omaha, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 in Omaha.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 13, at Mt. View Presbyterian Church in Omaha.

Norman E. Slader was born March 26, 1914, in Washington County. He was a member of Mt. View Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Arlene (Kruse) Slader, son and daughter-in-law, Norman A. and Beverly Slader of Seattle, Wash.; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Michael Pelowski of Omaha; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Slader, and a sister, Dorothy Ohrt.

In lieu of traditional remembration, memorials are suggested to Mt. View Presbyterian Church and the Nebraska Children’s Home.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun was in charge of arrangements.
