Services Held Monday For Paul Slader

Funeral services were held Monday, November 17 at 2 p.m. at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church for Paul W. Slader, 64, who died November 14. Paul was born April 10, 1916 to Mark and Verna Slader. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Stanley (Dorothy) Ohrt of Blair and a brother, Norman, of Omaha, five nieces, Judy Pelowski, Paula Lytle, and Georgia Byrn, Merry Truhlsen, Marta Ohrt and a nephew, Norman Slader.

He was a World War 2 veteran serving in the 94th Infantry in the European Theater. He worked many years for Wilkinson Mfg. Co. and after retiring was a very active member of the Fort Calhoun Cemetery Association.

Pallbearers were: Harry Lund, Albert Ohrt, Harold Swanson, Jim Knag, Bill Stratbucker and Fred Hansen.
