Betty A. Hart, 70, of Blair, died Monday, March 9, 2009, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

Services are 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Betty Ann Prochnow was born Feb. 11, 1939, in Blair to Fredrick and Dorothy (Jensen) Prochnow.

She was a graduate of Fort Calhoun High School and Dana College. On June 27, 1964, she married William Hart.

Mrs. Hart worked at D.L. Blair, where she did data entry. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was active in the Ladies Guild. She was also active in the Girl Scouts.

She is survived by a daughter, Ann Suing of West Point, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in December of 2006.
